In Georgia a loan of $3,000 or less falls under the Georgia Installment Loan Act (O.C.G.A. § 7-3-1 et seq.), the lender must be licensed, and interest is capped at 10% a year of the face amount of the contract — a figure that excludes the loan fee and monthly maintenance charge the same section permits, so compare the APR. Payday lending is a crime in Georgia (O.C.G.A. § 16-17-1 et seq.). Completing this form does not affect your credit score; a lender may run its own credit check with your consent.
